About me

I love stories. Therapy is a lot like reading a book, you have a vague idea of what to expect from the name and introduction, but the more you read the more the story comes together. There are highs and lows, and sometimes things can be a bit unexpected. This is what I love about being a therapist. I get to help my clients as they put together their story. The highs are happier and the lows are more manageable when we can share them with someone.

I primarily use tools from emotionally focused therapy, person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness in working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders/disordered eating, life transitions, and couples therapy.

I received my Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Cornerstone University. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and History from Central Michigan University.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Center of Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
