Our Step-by-Step Onboarding Process For New Clients

What should potential clients have prepared before calling you to set up an appointment with a therapist? We're going to need to know the client's type of insurance, date of birth, phone number, and a good email address so I can send the intake documents to them. When a client calls and I ask specific questions, I'm trying to connect the therapist to the best male I'm trying to connect the client to the best therapist, male or female, that they'll be most comfortable with. I'll ask questions like what type of therapy are we looking for? Anxiety, depression, OCD, sports therapy, for example, or an eating disorder. There are specific therapists who specialize in different types of therapy, and I want to make sure the client gets the best fit. Janine, tell clients what happens after you hang up the phone with them, but before their first session. Okay, what the client has to do after we've hung up is they need to access the therapy notes portal, which has been sent through their email. They fill that part out, they go to the intake documents, complete those, and those documents have to be completed 48 hours before their appointment or we're going to have to reschedule. So, if you have any questions, I've given you the contact information for your therapist in your appointment confirmation letter. And if you have just a simple question I can answer, you can call the office back and we will work with you to get this process complete.
